At Golden Age Fitness, our mission is to help people stay independent and enjoy their lives to the fullest for as long as possible. We accomplish this by encouraging preventative health and wellness through fun and accessible exercise.
As our population ages, taking a proactive approach to personal health is becoming increasingly important. Too often, people’s quality of life is diminished by chronic illnesses, unnecessary falls, and other injuries.
Our goal is to help our clients improve cardiovascular health, increase mobility, and build strength.
Our Mission
Why is fitness so important as we age?
Exercise is available to everyone and is proven to increase longevity.

-
Increase coordination, improve balance, reduce risk of falls, improve recovery time, increase range of motion, and increase bone density.
-
Increase and maintain independence, combat the progression of arthritis, manage chronic pain, improve sleep quality, reduce the risk of neurodegenerative disease, and improve overall mental health.
Meet Jill
Founder and lead trainer, Jillian Arlt, is passionate about seniors’ health and wellness. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and Senior Fitness Specialist.
Born and raised in Chilliwack, BC, Jill moved to Kelowna in 2016 to pursue a career in rehabilitation. While working at the Kelowna General Hospital, she identified the need for a senior-focused, mobile training service that would help fill an increasing gap in senior wellness within the healthcare system. She finds joy and excitement in helping others achieve their fitness goals.
“Jill’s enthusiasm is contagious. She encourages those around her to be the best version of themselves and do more than they believe they can. I can’t recommend Golden Age enough.”
